Museum Expansion Project

Plans are underway to raise funds to expand the museums's facilities so that we may provide interpretive sites of multi-disciplinary transitional exhibits to accommodate visitors of all ages; space to house a data base of collections that will enhance research opportunities; administrative space for day to day operations; and a haven for archival preservation and rotation.

We plan on preserving and enhancing our faithful old building, so it can continue to develop, motivate and educate our citizens.

This will take many enthusiastic and generous people who love our colorful and meaningful past, and are willing to be involved financially.

One of our recent aquistions is a 1916 player piano, complete with several piano rolls. The museum has purchased several more rolls.

We have over 1,000 area photos with indexes.

We have 7 local newspaper "special editions articles" with indexes.

Due to the generosity of Lois Heagle, we now have a computer, printer, scanner, and software.

We have received two grants this year: Idaho Community Foundation and a CAP grant.
